Botox vs. Dysport
Botox and Dysport have the same primary active ingredient, but a different protein allows Dysport to diffuse further or spread more. They work very similarly and have the capacity to provide similar results. One big difference between these neurotoxins is how quickly their effects kick-in after treatment. With Dysport, patients may begin to notice results in as little as 48 hours after treatment and on average, lasts around 4 months. With Botox, final results may not be noticeable for 1 week or longer after your injections and can last anywhere from 3-5 months.
