MicroLaser Peel
Micro/Nano Laser Peels: ‘Weekend Lasers’ with Results That Deliver
The MicroLaserPeel (MLP) procedure uses a 2940 nm Erbium YAG laser to precisely vaporize (ablate) predetermined layers of skin with the Contour Scanner. The MLP is a superficial peel that addresses texture and tone of photo-aged or damaged skin. Expected downtime is 3-5 days as initial swelling and redness fades, and skin sloughs. Arrive 1 hour early for numbing.

Description of Treatment
Have you tried microdermabrasion or a light chemical peel, but were left
feeling underwhelmed?
If your results weren’t as transformative as you were hoping, we’ve got good news—the MicroLaser/NanoLaser Peel could be exactly what you’re looking for!

The MicroLaser Peel (MLP) and NanoLaser Peel (NLP) procedure uses a 2940 nm Erbium YAG laser to precisely remove the outer layer of skin, replacing the dead skin cells with new, healthy cells.
These lasers are mild, superficial peels that improve the overall texture and tone of photo-aged or damaged skin. MLP/NLP treatments can often be combined with other lasers for a customized therapy- including the BBL and ProFractional lasers. Often referred to as the “Weekend Lasers”, downtime is minimal, with mild swelling, redness, and light skin sloughing.
Frequently Asked Questions
How should I prepare for my treatment?
Please discontinue the use of retinol products and other skincare actives 48 hours prior to the procedure. Limit sun exposure for 10-14 days prior.
What should I expect post-treatment?
Some mild redness/”sunburnt” sensation, slight swelling, and light flaking can be expected post-procedure (generally around 3 days). Your skin will be sensitive to UV light after the procedure, so make plans to avoid any direct exposure to the sun until you’ve completely healed.
