Description of Treatment

What Are Dermal Fillers?

Dermal fillers are one of the most advanced non-surgical treatments to define, reshape, and volumize your features - without going under the knife. Enjoy long-lasting results and minimal downtime as these injectables minimize under-eye circles, restore lost volume in the cheeks, define the jawline, soften superficial or deep wrinkles, and volumize lips to achieve your ideal features.

What Facial Areas Are Typically Treated?

Dermal fillers can be used on various areas of the face, including the cheeks, lips, under the eyes, and jawline. They can also be used to fill in shallow contours, smooth out wrinkles, and plump up thin lips. The results of dermal fillers can be very natural looking and can be customized to achieve your desired look.

Our team of experts at Euna Aesthetics, have years of experience in administering dermal fillers and only use the highest quality HA products. We take the time to consult with each patient to understand their individual needs and goals and tailor our treatments to achieve the best possible results.

What Can I Expect During My Filler Treatment?

The procedure is quick and relatively painless, and the results are immediate.

30-60 minutes. Discomfort is typically minimal to moderate. An additional 30-60 minutes is recommended to apply numbing cream for added comfort before your injections. Dermal fillers also come mixed with numbing medication (lidocaine) for enhanced patient comfort.  There may be some swelling, bruising, and redness after the treatment, but these side effects typically resolve in 5-7 days. Bruising may last longer.

When Will I See the Results?

Patients see immediate results which only improve over the following few days. You may also see some additional swelling due to the injections for the first 2-3 days.

How Long Will Results Last?

Typically, benefits from fillers last 6-18 months. Individual results will vary depending on the individual, the amount of dermal filler used, and the location the filler is placed. Your Euna provider will discuss this with you when you come in for your consultation. You may need “touch-up” treatments to maintain optimal correction.

Recommended Frequency:

Every 6-12 months.

Medications To Avoid:

Discuss with your primary physician and us your exact medication list before stopping, but typically avoid your blood thinners for 3-5 days before your treatment (such as aspirin, ibuprofen, alcohol, omegas, flaxseed oil, fish oil, vitamin D3, and vitamin E).

Possible Side Effects:

Localized redness, tenderness, swelling; firmness, bumps; discoloration, bruising; the very rare possibility of infection.

We understand that choosing to have a cosmetic procedure can be a big decision, that's why we will take the time to listen to your concerns and answer all of your questions.
